Week Eight:

1.What time do you normally get up to go to school? 5:00 am
2.What do you normally have for breakfast, recess, lunch, tea (dinner, supper)? Breakfast:Bacon, Toast/Eggs and waffles. Recess:A Granola Bar or Chips. Lunch:Pasta, Rice, or Sandwiches. Dinner:An African traditional dish called Eba or Egousi
3.How do you get to school? My mom drives me.
4.How long does it take to get to or from school? 7 mins max.
5.A typical lunch at school. Spanish Rice or Sandwiches
6.Subjects you have to do – remember to explain abbreviations like LOTE and ELA. Spanish, Reading, English, Science, Computers, Art, Music, Math, P.E., Social Studies.
7.Specialist subjects or electives, options. Newspaper Staff
8.Technology in your school? Computers/iPads.
9.A typical schoolday with timetable and breaks. 7:50 am – 2:50 pm.
10.What do you do at break times? Games, activities etc. Eat, talk, play like RPGs or do girly gossip.
11.School bell has gone for end of day – what happens now? I stay in daycare till 5:30 or so.
12.Do you have to wear uniform? Yes P.E. shorts Monday. Shorts, skirts, or pants Tuesday with a blue or green shirt. Vest, skirt, white shirt and decathlon jackets on Wednesday. Sweats and a blue or green shirt on Thursday, and anything on Friday.
13.How many days per year are you at school? How is this arranged – terms etc? 180 days minimum
14.What do you enjoy most about school? Reading.
15.If you could improve your school, what would you do? Have more books, 15 minute longer Art classes, more equipment for P.E. more languages to learn besides Spanish, and 10 minute longer recess.
